Guided Tour of Greenhills

There’s a lot more to the picturesque and tranquil hamlet of Greenhills than meets the eye – come along to one of the two special tours led by knowledgeable local historians who will reveal the hidden past of this quiet rural community and what went on there a hundred or so years' ago.

Meet outside the historic Greenhills Inn to take a leisurely stroll through the village, whilst finding out about the fascinating stories of local characters and places that formed Greenhills.  The current townsite sprang up around the new branch line of the railway in 1898, and there is plenty of evidence of the bustling area it was in years gone by.  Your local guides have a wealth of knowledge and all funds raised from the events will go towards the establishment of a permanent heritage walk trail.
