Government House Open Day

Her Excellency the Honourable Kerry Sanderson AC, Governor of Western Australia, invites visitors to explore Government House and Grounds at this autumn open day.

The whole family will enjoy a self-guided tour of the State’s number one listed heritage building which has been the home of successive Governors of Western Australia since 1863. Cellar and garden tours will reveal intriguing stories throughout Government House history and there will be a variety of entertainment and exhibitions for visitors to enjoy.

A delicious sausage sizzle, tea/coffee and refreshments will be available for purchase or visitors may choose to ‘while away’ the afternoon with a picnic in the beautiful gardens.
