Join Muruwarri artist, Virginia Keft, for an interactive weaving, collage and creativity workshop for children and families.

Join Muruwarri artist, Virginia Keft, for an interactive weaving, collage and creativity workshop for children and families. Gidju Murra means ‘small hands’ in Muruwarri language. Families with young children are invited to play creatively with Indigenous weaving techniques while using a variety of art materials.

The activity will introduce participants to the artist’s weaving techniques while thinking about themes of place, Country and nature to create a vibrant and personal weaving artwork.
