‘First In, Last Out’: The expanding role of the Australian Provost Corps during the Second World War

Please join us for the first of our speaking events for this year: First In, Last Out’: The expanding role of the Australian Provost Corps during the Second World War. The talk will complement our current exhibition, Goulburn 1939-1945: A memoir of military service and experiences on the home front

In the lead up to Anzac Day join us at Rocky Hill War Memorial Museum for a free talk by PHD researcher Nicholas Dickie. Focusing on the role of the provost corp (military police) in handling POWs overseas, the presentation will also briefly examine the provost in Australia and their involvement in military operations on the Home Front.

The talk will be followed by light refreshments. All welcome.
