Explore Emerald Museum and Nobelius Heritage Park

Discover the history of Emerald and district while exploring the beautiful Nobelius Heritage Park in Autumn. Have a look through the museum , enjoy free kids' activities and morning tea with our friendly volunteers.

The Australian Heritage Festival is a time to actively wonder, investigate, and learn about natural, cultural, Indigenous, living and built heritage around our nation.

Emerald Museum is an archival repository and exhibition space for a wide range of items that relate to the history of the former Gembrook/C. A. Nobelius & Sons Nursery as well as Emerald and surrounding districts.

Nobelius Heritage Park is registered on the Victorian Heritage Database as a site of State significance, being an intact 12-acre remnant of the former Nobelius Nursery that operated between 1886 and 1955.

Head on down to the museum and enjoy some free kids’ activities and morning tea with our friendly volunteers.

Activities include:
• Morning tea in the beautiful and historic Nobelius Heritage Park.
• Colouring in and scavenger hunt through the museum and surrounding park land.
• Discover the history of Emerald and district and chat to local stallholders.
• Salvia Gardens plant stall.
