Maldon State School 1254 celebrates its 150th Anniversary in 2023. Our volunteers have put together this special display featuring the many different aspects and the growth of the schooling system.
Come and explore the world of education as it happened in some of our rural primary schools: the teachers, the students, and the activities. Including the dreaded warm milk days of the late 1940’s – early 1950’s!
See the workbooks, teacher reports and many, many grade photographs. If you are a past (or present) Maldon district resident you may be able to help in identifying some of the students.
