Darwin Heritage Sites Walking Tours
Trevor Menzies, custodian of Roadmasters House Museum, will conduct walking tours over the Heritage Festival to commemorate the 150th anniversary of the Overland Telegraph Line (OTL).
The tour will go from Roadmasters House, 1 McMinn Street, Darwin to the sea cable landing site memorial near the Deck Chair Cinema and return to Roadmasters House. The 3-kilometre circuit will take about one and a half hours and will include stops at historic OTL and other sites along the way in this oldest part of Darwin.
Come prepared with comfortable walking shoes, water bottle and hat.
