Coronation Memorabilia Display – Tours and Teas
Celebrate the Coronation of Charles III with morning or afternoon tea in the garden and take a tour to view the unique display of Coronation memorabilia on display.
To Celebrate the Coronation of Charles III, the exhibition team at Lindesay House will be showcasing a display of Coronation memorabilia including souvenir mugs from the Coronation of George V and Queen Mary alongside rare items from the aborted Coronation of Edward VIII.
Displays include souvenir publications from 1937 & 1953 and more ephemeral items such as toys, tins and bunting. Film on loan from the Australian National Film and Sound Archive and RG Menzies Collection shows newsreel coverage of Elizabeth II Coronation.
Tickets include property entry, Coronation display viewing, a tour of Lindesay House and garden and morning or afternoon tea of cakes and sandwiches.
