Cornwall Coalminers’ Heritage Wall

Cornwall Coalminers’ Heritage Wall is in Cornwall Park in the centre of town and contains some 1200 names of men who pioneered the coal industry in the Mt Nicholas Range. Here you can learn about how the early miners tunnelled into the mountain with nothing more than a pick, shovel, pit pony and a stick of dynamite to win their prize of ‘black gold’.
