To mark the National Trust’s Australian Heritage Festival 2024, Maitland Libraries presents Connections: The steel highways of the Hunter. Enjoy a unique survey of rare photographs and manuscripts illustrating the early development of key railway networks in the region. This display of Maitland Libraries’ cultural collection will uncover local stories of the advancements in transportation, from industrial usage to leisurely passenger travels.
