Colonial Capers – A Child’s Step into Parramatta’s Past

Interactive games and activities will engage children as they discover the strange lives of colonial children and characters

Discover the stories of colonial children and delve into the lives of Parramatta’s colourful characters on this interactive tour through the city’s heritage sites. Where did the colony’s children live, how did they learn, what games did they play, what did they eat? Who were the adults that governed their lives?

This tour is suitable for families with primary school children, 7 years old and up, and includes activities to keep them engaged, enlightened and involved. Carers must supervise any younger children in their care.

Bookings are essential. Please arrive 15 minutes prior to start time, for registration. Wear comfortable shoes. Bring water, snack and a hat.
