Caring for Country- Indigenous Design Principles

Heritage Hobsons Bay presents an online panel discussion which explores Indigenous cultural heritage landscapes for the proposed Hobsons Bay Wetlands Centre

What are Indigenous design principles? How will they be used in the proposed Hobsons Bay Wetlands Centre? This online panel featuring Dr Marilyn Oliff Chair of the Hobsons Bay Wetlands Centre, Indigenous architect Jefa Greenaway, and Nick Griffin, landscape architect.
The panel will demonstrate how Indigenous cultural heritage can inform design practice through finding authentic ways in which to connect with Country and express the rich layer of Aboriginal history and experience through design. The panellists will also welcome questions after their presentations.
