Join us at Burton Automotive Hunter Valley Steamfest for a weekend of steam on 29 and 30 April to celebrate the 35 Anniversary of Australia’s Premier Festival of Steam.

Grab your tickets and be part of the annual ARTC Great Train Race or take a ride on one of the many unique train trips visiting various Hunter destinations.

See how things were done in days gone by at the interactive Rally Ground display, featuring a vast array of antique machinery from all over Australia including traction and portable engines.

The annual Show ‘n’ Shine is an impressive showcase of motoring history, bringing Maitland Park to life on Sunday 30 April with over 500 classic cars, food stalls, live rock ‘n’ roll entertainment and fun for the whole family.

On top of all that don’t miss the vintage diesel rides, steampunkers, market stalls, road steam, mini steam train rides, face painting, live entertainment, kids activities and so much more.

Steamfest will be spread across a range of areas including Maitland Station Precinct, Railways Street, the Rally Ground and Maitland Park. Parking will be limited but available in or around each of the activated areas. The best way to get to Steamfest is via train. There will be a range of additional services running over the weekend at the event.
