Brierley Jigsaw Gallery Open Day
Located at the Visitor Centre, the Brierley Jigsaw Gallery has been displaying jigsaw puzzles since the 1970s. Learn about Jesse Brierley and how her love of jigsaws has brought people together around this activity. Showing the new ‘Descendants’ collection plus world's largest and smallest jigsaws.
Sharing a story around a jigsaw puzzle is just one of the things to do when you’re in Bridgetown, and has been since the 1940s, when Jesse Brierley offered the pastime at her guest house in Bridgetown.
The Brierley Jigsaw Gallery is a must see for all. With free entry to the gallery for one day, learn all about the history of Jesse Brierley and the gallery from volunteers.
The gallery houses some of the world’s largest and smallest jigsaw puzzles and features the new collection on display the ‘Descendants’ collection. The gallery is thought to be the largest collection of its type in the Southern Hemisphere.
The Bridgetown-Greenbushes Visitor Centre will also exhibit historic displays on the day.
National Trust members will also receive free entry into the Jigsaw Gallery for the whole WA Heritage Festival month.
