Operating for 101 years Brennan and Geraghty's Store and its proprietors were strongly associated with the history and development of Maryborough.

See a century of commercial operations at the Brennan and Geraghty’s Store Museum. There are in excess of 50,000 archival items, including advertising and commercial material, accounts, ledgers and products, as well as personal letters, which tells the story and history of Brennan & Geraghty’s Store and its operation.

During the mid 1880s, Brennan and Geraghty were thought to be the wealthiest people in Maryborough; they owned vast amounts of land in the district and various business enterprises.

The store operated and was owned by the Geraghty family for an entire century.
