Boulder’s Dark History

Historic Burt Street, Boulder has a dark side!
A free walking tour of Burt Street to uncover the stories of how a simmering mixture of wealth, greed and bad feelings erupted in Boulder at the turn of the century.

This walking tour of Burt Street, Boulder sets off from the Boulder Town Hall at 10:30 on 28th and 29th April and also on 12th and 13th May. The City’s Local History and Archives Officer will unravel the dark history of Burt Street. You will hear stories of traumatic events, disaster and distress and how it affected the local community. These stories, often spoken about in hushed tones, will bring alive another side of Burt Streets incredible history!

Please remember to bring your hat and a bottle of water
