Blacktown Historical Bus Tours
The tour will begin at the Blacktown City Council, you will then embark on a day of discovery visiting a range of historical sites and houses around the Blacktown Area, to mark Heritage Week!
The tour will begin at the Blacktown City Council, you will then embark on a day of discovery visiting a range of historical sites including St Bartholomew’s Church 1841 and Cemetery, Grantham, Bungarribee 1824 Historic site, The Native Institution site, The first land granted to an Aboriginal in Australia and The original Blacktown site.
Other sites to be viewed on the tour include: The Cricketers Arms Hotel, Blacktown School House, Policeman’s Watch House, Watts Cottage, Aboriginal Silcrete mine and many more historic sites.
Included in the day’s activities morning tea will be provided followed by lunch at the Alroy Tavern in Plumpton.
