PAST EVENT

Bindaring Park Family Fun Day

Enjoy a day of free family fun while getting to know this remarkable natural heritage site - the last functioning wetland that drains directly into the Swan River.

A day of creative play, nature-science discovery and fascinating tours. Come together to celebrate this gem in our midst and talk about the stewardship needed for it to continue as a well-functioning system, despite the multiple pressures of today.

Activities begin with an Aboriginal elder’s Welcome to Country; then be entertained and challenged by the interactive Science Alive show. Take a guided tour with local experts to discover some of its important habitat features and find out how you can contribute to an on-going citizen-science project by gathering information for a data base that will help steer the future of the park and give it the best chance of a healthy survival.
