Bathurst Heritage Trades Trail

Ever wanted to make a wooden bucket? Ever wanted to see a blacksmith or a whipmaker at work? Ever wanted to see someone spinning and weaving? Now’s your chance! Come to the Bathurst Heritage Trades Trail and catch a glimpse of the past.

The Bathurst Heritage Trades Trail is on again! See 100 trades being demonstrated in four historic venues around Bathurst – Australia’s first inland settlement. There will be saddlers, embroiderers, print makers, blacksmiths, Cobb & Co coach rides, food, entertainment and much more. Meet the artisans and find out what they do, see something you’ve never seen before and buy something to take home. Some of these trades are hundreds of years old and still work today! See how things were done in past times.

Catch the shuttle bus between the venues or follow the map round Bathurst and see the sights. There will be plenty of parking and all venues have disabled access. Cost, bookings etc on the website. Early bird discounted tickets available NOW!
