Australian Heritage festival at Sugar Valley Library Museum

Celebrate Australian Heritage Festival at Sugar Valley Library Museum. This brand new purposed built facility is Lake Macquarie's first converged public library and museum experience. Learn about the people and groups that lived, works and played under the shadow of the Sugarloaf Mountain.

Celebrate Australian Heritage Festival with the official launch of Sugar Valley Library Museum. The brand new facility will deliver an enhanced library experience, a museum collection presenting the West Wallsend story through exhibition and display, and a variety of public programs to suit adults and children. Join us between 12 April and 23 April for guided museum tours, which contains objects and stories from across Sugar Valley collected over the last 40 years by the West Wallsend. These objects provide links to the families and communities that have formed the towns of the valley. There will also be school holiday activities for children, cultural story times, history talks, workshops and much more.
