CANCELLED – Alfred Graving Dock tours

A rare opportunity to explore the Alfred Graving Dock within the old Naval Dockyard in Williamstown with guided tours during the festival.

Built between 1864-1873, the bluestone dock remained in continuous service for the maintenance and repair of ships until very recently. Enjoy the tall stories of dock builders, shipwrights and dock workers and discover remarkable heritage infrastructure usually off limits to the public.

Tour parties to enter the site each hour and at fifteen minutes past the hour until 4:15pm, with each tour having a duration of 50 minutes. Arrive 15 minute early to avoid missing your tour. Wear comfortable shoes and wet weather gear in case of inclement weather.
