A Modern History Tour of Braddon

Discover Braddon’s recent urban history on this tour of the exceptional and eclectic local architecture and design. Follow the transformation of Braddon from a former industrial area into Canberra’s most creative precinct as you visit the suburb’s architectural gems both old and new.

This two hour walking tour is led by passionate local volunteers who will share their knowledge of the past 100 years of Braddon’s history, including its significant role in welcoming new workers to the fledgling capital of Australia through to the more recent transformation of its industrial heart to the vibrant and unique precinct it is today.
