The National Trust of Australia (WA) offers the public, students and teachers historic places to visit, learning resources, competitions and other resources with which to discover our heritage. By doing this, the Trust works to raise knowledge, awareness, understanding and commitment to Western Australia’s natural, Aboriginal and historic heritage. The Trust achieves this objective through the conservation and interpretation of heritage places it manages and through a comprehensive education and learning program. The Trust believes that fostering this commitment is the key to ensuring that our heritage is valued for the future.

The Curriculum based program is complemented by a public program of activities including seminars, lectures, and public talks on a wide range of topics, from rose pruning to planning legislation reform.

The Trust supports lifelong, voluntary learning and hopes that raising awareness, understanding and commitment to our Heritage can be encouraged and facilitated through our public education program of lectures, tours and resources.
