Barwon Grange is an elegant early Victorian villa, a lone survivor of the many fashionable mid-19th century river front residences built along the Barwon River.
Built in 1855 for a wealthy businessman and his family, it reflects the lifestyle of Geelong’s earliest residents.
Overlooking the Barwon River in Newtown, the picturesque villa offers a charming setting for wedding ceremonies, receptions and functions. Shaded by lush trees, the grounds boast a number of ceremony locations including the Moreton Bay Fig tree, the spacious veranda and the stunning central fountain. Lined with English Elm trees, the carriageway provides the perfect approach to the venue.
