Reciprocal
Visiting Arrangements
For many years, the ACNT
has enjoyed reciprocal visiting arrangements with many international
organisations for the benefit of Australian National Trust members. Currently,
National Trust members are entitled to a full reciprocal arrangement with 21
overseas organisations, including the United Kingdom. Becoming a member of the
National Trust of Australia entitles you to free entry to most of the
properties owned or managed by these organisations.
Although Australian National
Trust membership bestows free access to places listed within the links below,
please note that in some instances a charge may be levied for special events,
parking, or for access to a property. A change in property management or
ownership may also result in the application of a charge.
Some properties listed
offer free entry to all visitors, not just National Trust members.
Opening and closing times
Please allow enough time
to enjoy your visits. At many places, the last admission is 30 minutes before closing
time. It is also worth noting that some properties, particularly gardens and
parks, are closed during inclement weather.
Access and opening and
closing times are subject to change, and should be confirmed prior to visiting
a property. We urge you to check the individual property information on the
websites listed with each country entry.
Appreciation to participating Trusts
The Australian Council of
National Trusts would like to thank its reciprocal partners for their support
and input into this member service guide.
